Digital Technologies in Primary Care

Hello and welcome to the Digital Technologies in Primary Care SIG.

This SIG is chaired by Helen Atherton, University of Southampton and supported by Nicky Thomas, University of Warwick.

What is the SIG about?

The SIG has five objectives:

• Build a network of researchers interested in digital technologies use for healthcare delivery.

• Provide a networking opportunity for researchers from multi-disciplinary backgrounds who are interested in working in digital technologies in healthcare delivery.

• Provide a forum for discussion about the issues associated with research in this area, including the challenges.

• Provide a central point of contact for researchers in academic primary care looking to find expertise in the application of digital technologies in primary care.

• Bring together digital health researchers from within and outside of NIHR School for Primary Care Research departments.

Newsletter and events

We have a quarterly newsletter which is an opportunity for members to share successes and reach other members of the group.  If you are interested in joining the group and receiving our newsletter, please contact us: dtpc DigitalSIG@soton.ac.uk
