Hosted by the University of Dundee
NADEGS 2025 - Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges
Thursday 23 January 2025 - Friday 24 January 2025
The University of Dundee School of Medicine is excited to be hosting the NADEGS Annual Conference “Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges” on the 23rd and 24th of January 2025 at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel.
NADEGS is Scotland’s premier Academic Primary Care conference, showcasing key research and education conducted in Scotland. Academics and clinicians associated with five Departments of General Practice in Scotland (Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews) and from NHS Education for Scotland (NES) are invited to attend.
Educationalists and researchers from throughout Scotland will present talks, workshops and posters on wide-ranging topics relevant to primary care, including health inequalities, communicating for health and maximising the strengths of the primary care workforce. This is an excellent chance to meet colleagues, hear about the latest work in the field, and enhance the networking within Scottish primary care. We welcome all, at whichever career stage you are, were, or will be.
We have secured three outstanding plenary speakers:
- Dr Carey Lunan (Past RCGP Scotland Chair, Deep End GP)
- Dr Euan Lawson (Editor BJGP)
- Professor Lesley Colvin (Professor of Pain Medicine, NHS Tayside Pain Service & Deputy Associate Dean of Research, University of Dundee).
