SAPC Elections - 2018

Seeking SAPC executive committee members and a vice-chair

In 2018, we will be holding an election for four general member places on SAPC Executive, to serve from July 2018-2021.  In addition we are also seeking nominations for a vice-chair who will serve from July 2018-2019 and will become chair in 2019 (until 2022).

The Executive team lead the work of SAPC to raise the profile of Academic Primary Care, build a vibrant workforce by helping people Get In and Get On in APC, and enhance the impact of our work through supporting collaborations. You may like to read the most recent Officers' Report (presented at AGM 2017) which highlights SAPC activities in the year to July 2017.

Each Executive member leads on an area of work for the Society after they have been part of the team for a few meetings. Details of the current team can be found on the Exec page.

We're now inviting expressions of interest in standing for this year's election.

You must be a member of SAPC to stand. (You can join us here!) and must be proposed and seconded by SAPC members (electronic signatures permitted).

The deadline for submitting nominations is 5pm on Monday 9th April 2018. Please complete the nomination form and send it by email to office@sapc.ac.uk.

Electoral Reform Services will be running the elections for us again this year. Ballot notification will be sent shortly after the closing date for nominations, with an expected closing date of 29th May 2018. Results will be announced at the AGM on 12th July during the annual scientific meeting at the Barbican Centre, London.

If you have questions about the process, please do contact Sue. For details about the posts, please contact Kate (SAPC Chair) or any member of the SAPC Executive.

We look forward to hearing from you!
